Terms of service
These terms set the rules for ordering Florida energy calcs and Manual J, S & D from Florida Load Calcs: who we are, what you get, how prices and payment work, how the turnaround clock runs, revisions, cancellations, your responsibilities, the ordering assistant and our optional order text messages.
Who we are
Florida Load Calcs is a DBA of Designda Inc., a Florida corporation. These terms cover your use of floridaloadcalcs.com, the ordering assistant, our API and the services you order.
The services
We prepare residential energy calculations (Form R405 or R402) and Manual J, S & D load calculations and duct design for Florida homes from the plans and information you provide. Sealed calcs are signed and sealed by a Florida-licensed PE of Designda Inc. (dba Pineland Engineering).
Our work depends on complete, accurate plans and inputs. Building departments decide what they accept; we don’t guarantee permit approval.
Prices and payment
Prices are the published prices shown by the calculator at the time you order, and you pay in advance through secure checkout. Over 6,000 sq ft or 3 or more systems is a custom quote, confirmed before you pay. Expedited delivery is an optional surcharge.
Turnaround
Standard turnaround is 2–3 business days and Expedited: within 24 business hours, both counted from when complete plans and inputs pass our intake check. Before 3:00 PM ET on a business day the clock starts then; after 3:00 PM, on weekends or on our listed holidays it starts at 9:00 AM ET the next business day.
Revisions
Revisions to address building-department plan-review comments on the same design are free. Design changes after delivery are $75 each.
Cancellations and refunds
To cancel, contact us as soon as possible at (239) 837-1777 or hello@floridaloadcalcs.com. Refunds are handled case by case, based on the work already completed.
Your responsibilities
You confirm you have the right to share the plans you upload and that the information you give us is accurate. Tell us about changes to the design, equipment or windows, because they change the results.
Ordering assistant and API
The ordering assistant is an AI tool. Prices and dates it shows come from our published price list, and payment always happens on a secure checkout page. Don’t paste card numbers into chat. Automated clients may use our API and MCP server within the published rate limits.
Text messages (SMS)
- Program: Florida Load Calcs, operated by Designda Inc., from (239) 837-1777.
- What we text: messages about your quote, order, plan upload and delivery status, and replies to messages you send us. No marketing texts.
- How you opt in: by ticking the optional text-message box when you order, or by texting us first. Consent is not required to buy anything.
- Message frequency varies with your order (typically a few messages per order).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time. You will get one confirmation and no further texts unless you opt in again.

- No sharing: we do not share or sell mobile information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as permit delays.
